MeMeMe Cherub's Blush - Cheek and Lip Tint (Full size) - RRP £5.50 for 12ml
When I spotted this in my box I was over the moon. I'm quite partial to a tint/staining product now and again but I actually lack them in my collection so I thought this would be a fab addiction to my stash. I guess I was wrong. Firstly when I opened it up I was hit with it's strong Rose scent which I personally really like but then I applied it. For something that is supposed to be a tinting product, it really, really lacks pigmentation and lasting power. To be quite honest, its basically useless on both my lips and on my cheeks and I wouldn't recommend at all.
Katy Perry Killer Queen Fragrance (Sample size 1.5ml) - RRP £29.50 for 50ml
Doesn't really compare to the Elizabeth Arden Untold Eau De Parfum sample that I received in September's London Edition Glossybox but hey ho. I'm not the biggest fan of Killer Queen but it's not bad and I guess I'll use it up. Still don't see how Glossybox can justify putting these perfume samples in a box that people are paying for when you can get these samples for free online and in stores.
Monu Illuminating Primer (Sample size 20ml) - RRP £24.95 for 50ml
I've only tried this a couple of times but this primer isn't bad at all. I actually quite like it as it gives the skin a lovely healthy glowing highlight. However, the one thing that annoys me more than anything else is my sample bottle is only a quarter full. What is that all about Glossybox? Huh?
Premae Multi-Vit Smoothie Serum ( Sample size 20ml) - RRP £22.50 for 50ml
Next up I received a decent size sample of a Premae Serum which unlike the Monu Primer, is full. I haven't really tried it out yet but I am loving the Lemongrass scent. I can't wait to mix this up with my camouflage cream as apparently mixing with foundation creates a shine-control natural BB cream.
Broadway Nails imPRESS Press-On Manicure (Full size) - RRP £7.99
Last but not least I received a set of medium length French manicure style imPress nails with a nice bit of added glitter to give them that extra va va voom. I've wanted to try imPress nails for a while now but never got round to purchasing any so I'm looking forward to giving them a whirl although, my nails are getting a tad long now so I'm not sure if they'll be the right length but we'll see.
Overall I'd say this is the worst Glossybox I've received. I really do not understand why it has the name Dark Romance as there isn't really any product inside that screams dark romance to me. Due to the box being such a let down I'm actually considering cancelling as I really feel like Glossybox are becoming so underwhelming and the money I spend could be put towards a product I truly want.
