The brushes come in a plastic box, encased in a sponge tray. The packaging seems to be sturdy and keeps the brushes safe and in shape. As for the actual brush packaging, each brush has a long white metal handle with a black rubberised end. I personally love the look of them as they’re not only sleek looking but the long handle just allows a better hold as aposed to if they were shorter.
Duo-Fiber Face Brush
The first brush in the set which also happens to be the largest is the Duo-Fiber Face Brush. This is absolutely perfect for applying powder products lightly such as blush, bronzer and your setting powder . I’ve loved using this with my Natural Collection Pressed Powder in Cool and my Living Nature Luminous Powder in Light as well as loose powders too. I’ve used this on days when I’ve just wanted a very subtle wash of colour or want my powder to be quite light and natural. For me, this is a staple when it comes to minimal make up days. It’s also decent for blending and like all the Real Techniques brushes, it’s super soft. My only real issue with this brush was that it shed when washed which was a little odd as the other two brushes didn’t but hey ho, overall it works fab.
Duo-Fiber Contour Brush
The second brush in the set is the Duo-Fiber Contour Brush which is effective for contouring and is also top notch when it comes to applying cream blush like my favourites, Topshop’s Prime Time and Illamasqua’s Seduce. Lately I’ve also been trying this brush out with my Veil Cover Cream. I love the extremely flawless look it achieves once all blended thoroughly but I find the brush can leave a few streak marks however, it’s nothing my fingers can’t sort out.
Duo-Fiber Eye Brush
Last but not least is the Duo-Fibre Eye Brush. This works fantastically for two things. The first is creating a gorgeous contoured crease and the second, blending under eye concealer effortlessly. It’s truly a wonderful brush as it just blends everything so so well making the overall make up look a lot cleaner and prettier.

This is a nice little set and has really encouraged me to get more use out of my slightly neglected cream products. Each brush works wonderfully for its purpose and although the Duo-Fiber Face Brush can be prone to shedding and the Duo-Fiber Contour Brush can leave streak marks, the brushes as a whole are good quality and I’d definitely recommend.
