3 Great Highlighters For Less Than £5

Makeup Revolution Vivid Baked Highlighter in Pink Lights

The first of the great highlighters for under £5 is an offering from Makeup Revolution. I actually wrote a full review of the Makeup Revolution Highlighter in Pink Lights back in 2014. However, I still absolutely love the product so I thought it was definitely worth a mention. The product is a very unique and pretty pink highlighter. I have nothing else in my collection like it and the product works well with my pale complexion. In terms of the colour, it is much more of a lilac as opposed to a pink. It brightens the complexion well and can be applied heavily for a more intense highlight or normally for a natural glowy finish. The highlighter retails at just £3.00.

MUA Undress Your Skin Highlighting Powder in Pink Shimmer

The second of the great highlighters for under £5 is a pink shimmer highlighter from MUA. The MUA Undress Your Skin Highlighting Powder in Pink Shimmer is a highlighter that appears as a sort of micro shimmer finish on the skin as opposed to a strong highlight shade. Compared to Makeup Revolution’s Pink Lights this is much more subtle. Again, this is a pretty cool-toned highlighter but I feel those with warmer toned skin could potentially get away with it. As well as working well as a face highlighter this also works nicely as a pretty brow highlight shade. The highlighter retails at £3.00.

Technic High Lights

The third and last of the great highlighters for under £5 is the Technic High Lights Complexion Highlighter. This is a liquid highlighter which is a Benefit High Beam dupe. The Technic High Lights Highlighter is a pink toned shade that contains the perfect amount of shimmer. In comparison to other Benefit High Beam dupes that I’ve tried this is the closest in terms of consistency. In terms of the look, it isn’t exactly the same as Highbeam but it is identical. The product comes with a nail polish style brush applicator making the product fairly easy to apply and it blends well with fingertips. In terms of the price, High Lights is available from the Fragrance Direct website for just £1.99.
