7 Brilliant Products That Are In My Shower
Philip Kingsley Coconut Breeze Elasticizer*
The first of the seven brilliant products that I have in my shower is the Philip Kingsley Coconut Breeze Elasticizer. I mentioned this product earlier on my blog when I talked about the Summer range of Philip Kingsley hair care products. This is a pre shampoo treatment. You apply it to damp hair at the mid lengths and then leave it on either over night or for 10-20 minutes. After using this product my hair feels in great condition. It is soft, smooth and just has a beautiful shine to it. My hair also smells amazing after use. It had a gorgeous coconut fragrance with a subtle citrus like twist to it.
Alberto Balsam Damage Repair Shampoo
The second of the seven brilliant products that I have in my shower is the Alberto Balsam Damage Repair Shampoo. Now I actually had this bottle in as an emergency shampoo for when I run out of my regular product. In the past, I’ve tried the regular Alberto Balsam Shampoos and although they’re not outstanding, they aren’t bad. They’re ideal if you’re on a budget and they smell incredible. If you’re looking for added shine and a volume boost you’re not going to get that. Instead, you’ll simply get clean hair. No bells, no whistles.
That being said Alberto Balsam also have a damage repair range. The one I tried? Natural avocado oil and coconut scent. The difference? It contains oils and is said to nourish and repair your hair. Now, this isn’t to the standard of say Redken, Kerastase or Tigi. However, it is good to remember this is a much cheaper product. Just like the standard Alberto Balsam range, it retails at just £1. The results after use? My hair feels very soft and silky. It doesn’t exactly feel repaired but it does feel nourished. But remembering the price tag, this product is pretty darn good. Plus did I mention it smells like beautiful tropical coconut?
Henara Bronze Shine Conditioner*
The third of the seven brilliant products I have in my shower is the Henara Bronze Shine Conditioner. This conditioner is ideal for my hair as not only does it condition and soften it, it also contains Henna. Therefore it just naturally enhances my own hair colour without looking too dramatic. This is the first time I’ve tried any form of henna hair conditioner but I really enjoy it. The only thing I will say is that it feels a little more oily than other conditioners but it doesn’t make my hair look or feel greasy.
Soap and Glory Sugar Crush Body Scrub
The fourth of the seven brilliant products I have in my shower is the Soap and Glory Sugar Crush Body Scrub. I’ve tried a lot of Soap and Glory products but out of all of them, the Sugar Crush fragrance is definitely my favourite. The fragrance is just so zesty but sweet with a hint of cream. It is simply divine. The scrub itself is coarse and therefore great for tackling dry patches and dead skin cells on the elbows and knees. However, even though this is a coarse body scrub, it isn’t too harsh on the skin and still feels pretty gentle
Soap and Glory Whipped Shower Butter*
The fifth of the seven products I have in my shower is the Soap and Glory Whipped Shower Butter. Now in my shower I like to have a decent selection of shower gels and washes. This is simply because I like to change things up frequently. This particular shower cream wash is ideal for dry skin. Whipped Shower Butter contains 25% moisture oils and butters. It is fragranced with Soap and Glory’s Smoothie Star fragrance and quite frankly smells delicious. If you like Bakewell Tarts you’ll love this as it is very almond like smelling. The butter has a thick body cream like texture and it lathers up really nicely.
Soap and Glory Clean On Me Shower Gel
The sixth of the seven products I have in my shower is the Soap and Glory Clean On Me Shower Gel. Clean On Me is a clarifying shower gel which features that classic Original Pink Soap and Glory scent that we all know and love. It is also said to also contain a built in body lotion. This means it isn’t drying but at the same time it isn’t quite as nourishing as the Whipped Shower Butter. This is just one of those really trusty shower gels that I am forever repurchasing because it does its job and smells lovely.
Soap and Glory Sugar Crush Shower Gel
And the last of the seven products I have in my shower is the Soap and Glory Sugar Crush Shower Gel. Much like the Sugar Crush Body Scrub this citrus shower gel has the exact same fragrance. It is refreshing slightly creamy and just delightful. This shower gel is particularly good for use in the morning when you want a really good waking up.
