July 2016 Favourites
Soap and Glory Sexy Mother Pucker Gloss Crayon in Raplumzel*
The first product to make it into my July 2016 favourites is the Soap and Glory Sexy Mother Pucker Gloss Crayon in Raplumzel. I mentioned this product in my 3 Newly Discovered Lip Products That I Am Loving post and it is safe to say that it is a firm favourite of mine. I think out of the whole month this has been my most reached for lip product.
The product its self is a cross between a lipstick and a lipgloss. It applies quite sheer however you can easily build it up to your desired shade which is something I love. In terms of the colour its self, Raplumzel is a plummy berry pink. I find the shade to be very flattering and would be ideal for the Autumn and Winter months. As for the finish, the crayon gives a lovely natural glossy finish. It isn’t over the top but it provides the lips with a nice bit of shine.

The second product to make it into my July 2016 favourites is the Soap and Glory Glow All Out Highlight and Sculpt Cheek Stick. I have the stick in the shade Ice Shimmer and I’ve got to say, it is the bees knees. The reason why I love this is because it is so easy to work with and works with virtually any makeup look. Ice Shimmer isn’t a super shimmery or disco ball like highlighter. In fact, I kind of wouldn’t even say it is a highlighter, it is more of an illuminator. When applied it just brightens the skin giving a really healthy look. The highlighter isn’t really silver or gold toned, it oddly has a kind of neutral tone to it which makes me think it would work for a whole variety of skin tones.

The fourth product to make it into my July 2016 favourites is the W7 Argan Eyes Mascara. Not long back I mentioned the W7 Flirty Eyes Mascara in my 5 Great Affordable W7 Products You Should Try and I’ve got to admit, this mascara is even better. W7 Argan Eyes Mascara adds great length along with a hint of volume too. I love that this mascara separates the lashes with any clumping occurring. I also like that it gives the lashes a slightly shiny finish as it seems to give the illusion of fuller lashes. In terms of the brush, it comes with a huge synthetic wand that is made up of tiny plastic spikes. I find the brush allows me to evenly coat my lashes although due to its large size application can prove a little messy.
Lancome Grandiose Liner* (link)
The last product to make it into my July 2016 favourites is the Lancome Grandiose Liner. Now when I first received this product I didn’t love it. The brush did take a little getting used to but now it is my go-to eyeliner. The applicator tip of the eyeliner is extremely flexible which allows you to create a whole range of liner looks. The downside to this is that it does take a little getting used to. However, once you’ve got the hang of it, you’re good to go.
Another interesting thing about this liner is the fact that you can tilt the brush handle to a 35-degree curve. By doing this I found I had more control and thus created a more even line when applying. As for the formula, Lancome Grandiose Liner provides an intense black matte colour. The formula is surprisingly long lasting and transfer resistant but yet it is still fairly easy to remove.
