Makeup Revolution Rose Gold Lipstick in Girls Best Friend

The first product to make it into my September 2016 favourites is the Makeup Revolution Rose Gold Lipstick in Girls Best Friend. This lipstick isn’t something I’d normally sport on a regular basis as it tends to draw attention to my teeth. However, I just went for it and wore this lipstick quite a lot in September. I’m still not 100% confident wearing the shade but there is just something about it that makes me happy. The product is essentially a bright pink almost neon lipstick. It has a slightly sheer but buildable formula and has a soft and creamy texture. The lipstick comes housed in beautiful rose gold coloured packaging and costs just £3.00. This is definitely worth checking out if you are after a bold fun lip colour.

Benefit Fake Up Concealer

The second product to make it into my September 2016 favourites is the Benefit Fake Up Concealer. This isn’t a new discovery but I did recently mention the product in my 3 concealers that you need to try blog post. This hydrating undereye concealer is made up of a pigmented core surrounded by an outer balm layer. The concealer isn’t that long lasting but it does give the undereye area a brightened yet natural effect. Basically, it makes you look much more awake without looking like you’ve applied lots of makeup. I personally use the shade Light which is the palest in the range, however, in an ideal world I’d have liked the shade to be a little less yellow toned and more pink toned. Anyway, this is something I’ve been reaching for on an almost daily basis.

Sigma Dupe Flat Top Kabuki Brush

Next up in my September 2016 favourites is the Sigma Dupe Flat Top Kabuki Brush. I picked this brush up in my Sigma brush dupes for under £5 blog post. This brush is perfect for applying both cream and powder foundations. It just blends out product super well but you can also stipple product onto the skin effortlessly for a full coverage finish. The brush itself is a white and gold combo and it is made extremely well. The hairs are extremely soft, wash well and regain their shape nicely when washing. I think the brush set is worth checking out for this brush alone but the other brushes in the set are also excellent quality.

Lotil Original Cream

And lastly, to make it into my September 2016 favourites is the Lotil Original Cream. Lotil Original Cream is a fantastic moisturiser for dry skin. Although results aren’t instant, when used regularly I personally have definitely noticed a difference to flaky skin. Lotil absorbs fast into the skin and it does not feel sticky or greasy. The cream leaves the skin feeling smooth and soft and is particularly effective for use on the hands and feet. Personally, I prefer a much more intense moisturiser for my face but I think for many Lotil would certainly do the trick.
