5 Useful & Valuable Life Lessons I’ve Learnt So Far In 2020

Life lessons I’ve learnt so far in 2020 during the pandemic and throughout everything that’s gone on 2020 has been a roller coaster of a year. I don’t think anyone could have predicted just how wild this year was truly going to be. The scariest part? We are only halfway through it. Like everyone else, I have no idea what the rest of the year will bring. I just hope it’s better than the first half! As of now with COVID-19 around I know many are dealing with loss, sadness, financial worries and a whole wave of emotions. I’ve personally…

The Ultimate Guide To Beating Lockdown Boredom In 10 Ways

As we enter the extended social distancing period here in the UK I know I’m not the only one who is somewhat struggling mentally. Each day just seems to morph into the next. Days don’t feel like days anymore. Time feels slower than usual and the daily routine of being stuck in the house is starting to get really repetitive. Don’t get me wrong, I totally agree with social distancing and staying at home if you can. We need to protect those most at risk and tackle the douche bag that is COVID-19. For me personally, I’m finding being away…

Why It’s Important To Stay Connected #giffgaffGamers

Recently I was contacted by the lovely people over at giffgaff. They challenged me to reconnect with my loved ones by hosting a games night. As someone who LOVES gaming and spending time with those important to me, I jumped at the opportunity. Who and what is giffgaff? If you’ve not heard of giffgaff they’re a mobile network run by its members. The network has a big community who really care about bringing people together. I’ve been a giffgaff customer for around 8 years now. I’ve gotta say, I’m a big fan of their monthly rolling goodybags. Not only are…

What Are Psychogenic Non-Epileptic Seizures? My Experience

I’ve touched upon some of my mental health struggles before here on my blog. Like when I chatted about my anxiety in my blogging break post. However, one thing I’ve never fully talked about is the fact that I suffer from Psychogenic Non-Epileptic Seizures or PNES. Now when many people hear the word seizures their first thought is usually Epilepsy. A few years ago when I had my first seizures Epilepsy was my first concern. So off I toddled to the doctors to chat to my GP. Before I knew it I was being sent for MRI scans and EEGs,…

2 Excellent Thierry Mugler Alien Dupes For Under £3.50?

One of my absolute all-time favourite fragrances is Thierry Mugler Alien. Launched back in 2005 Alien certainly isn’t new but it is for sure is a very popular scent. The fragrance is a jasmine and amber medley with woody notes running throughout. It’s incredibly addictive and not only has enormous scent throw, but it also lasts amazingly well. I think if I had to choose one perfume to wear for the rest of my life I would for sure choose Alien. In terms of wear, I’d definitely say Alien is more of an evening scent because of its power and concentrated scent but there…

With the new year upon us, new tracks have been taking over my music library rapidly. Of course, I still love all my old favourites but throughout January 8 tracks, in particular, have been put on repeat on more than one occasion. So without further ado, here are 8 fantastic tracks that I haven’t stopped playing in January. PS. If you want to listen to said songs, scroll to the bottom of the post to find the embedded…
