Fragrance Direct is one of my all time favourite online beauty shops. It is packed full of various big brands at super discounted prices. Everything I have ever purchased from Fragrance Direct has been great and there are lots and lots of bargains to be had. Below is a list 0f 10 different products. These are products that you can get in a variety of high street shops such as Boots and Superdrug but cost a fraction of their recommended retail price on the Fragrance Direct website.
1. L’Oreal Nude Magique Eau De Teint Foundation – RRP £9.99 | FD Price – £3.99
I’ve heard lots of people rave about this lightweight foundation and some have even compared it to the much pricier Armani Maestro Foundation. I’ve actually wanted to try this foundation for quite a while now but to be honest with you, the majority of the time I like my foundations to have decent coverage and because I’ve heard that this doesn’t provide the skin with much coverage, I’ve always been unsure whether to pick this up or not as part of me thinks that if I really don’t like it that is £10 (Well, just under) gone to waste and I could have spent the money on another foundation, one that I like and I know that works. Having said that, now that Fragrance Direct are selling the foundation for £3.99, I’m definitely going to be ordering myself a bottle to try.
2. Essie Nail Polish – RRP £7.99 | FD Price – £2.49
Essie Nail Polishes aren’t a new product on the Fragrance Direct, in fact they’ve been stocking the popular polishes for quite a few years now. Over the years I’ve picked up roughly around 20 different shades from the website, shades that would have cost me a lot more if I’d have purchased them from the likes of Boots. I’ve also picked up a few Limited Edition shades that I wouldn’t necessarily be able to just pick up. So if you are an Essie polish fan, definitely check out the Fragrance Direct website.
3. Bourjois Rouge Edition Velvet Lipsticks – RRP £8.99 | FD Price – £2.99
Bourjois seems to be a really popular brand, especially among bloggers and YouTubers. I however, honestly haven’t really tried that much from the brand. I’ve tried bits and pieces but not many different products to warrant the brand being a favourite of mine. Although one product I have tried has been a Rouge Edition Velvet Lipstick. I really quite liked the formula and I’d definitely like to try out some of the other shades. With Fragrance Direct selling the lip products at a discounted price, it seems silly not to take advantage of the situation.
4. OPI Nail Lacquer – RRP £13.95 | FD Price £3.49
As well as Essie polishes Fragrance Direct also stock OPI Polishes for a mere £3.49 each. I have tried a couple of OPI Polishes but to be honest, they’re just not for me. However, I am aware that hundreds and thousands of people around the world love the brand and rave about many shades until the cows come home so I thought it was worth mentioning the polishes for those of you who may save yourself money from the mention.
5. L’Oreal Shine Caresse Lip Stain Glosses – RRP £7.99 | FD Price – £2.60
In my entire life I’ve only tried one L’Oreal Shine Caresse Lip Stain Gloss but that shade is one that I like a lot. Sure the shade is a little more sheer than I ever expected but the gloss makes a great everyday lip product that lasts super well on the lips. I’d be interested to see how the other shades in the range compare and work with my skin tone.
6. ORLY Nail Polish – RRP £10.95 | FD Price £1.99
The last nail polish brand that I’m going to mention in this post is ORLY. When I was at college doing my Beauty Therapy course we used ORLY Polishes on clients in the salon. I really liked the way the polishes applied to the nails and I really, really loved the extensive range of shades. I personally feel as if ORLY are really underrated and definitely deserve more hype and fans so if you are after some new polishes, please consider checking them out and giving them a try as they’re a great brand.
7. Revlon Just Bitten Kissable Balm Stains – RRP £7.99 | FD Price – £1.99
The Revlon Just Bitten Kissable Balm Stains are products that I really enjoy using. They’re also great affordable alternatives to the expensive Clinique Chubby Sticks. The deal gets even sweeter when Fragrance Direct sell the products even more discounted than usual. If you are a fan of chunky pencil style lippies and you haven’t yet tried these, I highly recommend checking them out.
8. Rimmel Lasting Finish Nude Foundation – RRP £7.99 | FD Price £3.99
Another Rimmel product that Fragrance Direct sell is the Rimmel Lasting Finish Nude Foundation. I’ve spotted lots and lots of people online raving about this product and it seems to be one of the more popular high street foundations. I think I’ll definitely be ordering myself a bottle of this to see what all the fuss is about because lets face it, if it is a great product, it is a bargain at under £4.00.
9. Revlon Nearly Naked Foundation – RRP £8.99 | FD Price – £4.99
The Revlon Nearly Naked Foundation is another product that is said to be like the L’Oreal Nude Magique Eau De Teint Foundation in the sense that it is said to give the skin light/sheer coverage. It is also another foundation which I’ve wanted to try for quite a while but because I don’t really opt for lighter coverage foundation that often I could never really justify paying the full price tag. However, now that Fragrance Direct is stocking the Nearly Naked Foundation, I’ll definitely be giving it a try.
10. Bourjois Rouge Edition Lipsticks – RRP £7.99 | FD Price £2.99
And finally, another Bourjois product that the budget makeup and perfume website stocks is the Rouge Edition Lipsticks. I’ve not tried these lippies but I have been told that they are of good quality so who knows, maybe I’ll give them a try in the future for a more affordable price than they retail at on the high street.
