You guessed it, another review!
Today I will be reviewing Soap and Glory’s Glad Hair Day Shampoo.
Like all Soap and Glory products this comes packaged in a quirky, vintage bottle. This is something I really love, it just gives the product that girly little touch which I find adorable.
Enough about the much loved packaging… Now this product retails at £5.22 for 250ml from Boots.
The product claims to be suitable for all hair types and also claims to have a no buildup formula. It is also said to be an Ultra-Shine daily shampoo.
It contains Raspberry Fruit Vinegar, Panthenol, Glycerin and Phytantriol, which creates a gorgeous fragrance with makes me want to nom this stuff!
The product it’s self, is a clear gel with lathers up really well. Now I have quite damaged hair from years of using heat so I like to let my hair dry naturally to avoid any more damage than is necessary and as soon as my hair dried, within a couple of hours, my hair was extremely greasy. Now I initially thought I hadn’t washed it all out properly, so I tried the product a few more times, 7 to be precise, and no luck. It’s such a let down because Soap and Glory products are always a win in my eyes, so I was quite surprised that I strongly disliked this. As someone who dyes there hair purple, I try and only wash my hair when I absolutely have to, to prolong the dye and this certainly isn’t the best product for me to do so.
Overall, although it smells lovely and the packaging is adorable, I really dislike this product and the results it gives.
