Another review, today Revlon’s Star Attraction Lipgloss…
Well as you can tell from the pictures above, the lipgloss comes in an adorable little pot with a cute lace design on the product’s lid. Personally, I love the packaging. Oh and see the latch? If you pull it out, it’s a lip brush! Great idea! Thumbs up for the packaging!
I bought these in Poundland a while back, they came in packs of two. So I payed 50p each for 2.5g of product, not bad I’d say.
The first shade is Hushed Blush.
In the pot it’s a gorgeous orangey shade packed with sparkle. On the lips, the sparkle remains, but the colour practically unnoticeable. It creates a lovely shimmer to your lips, very glam and fab for nights out, but as for the colour, well it just looks like a clear gloss.
Next up, Lilac Kiss.
In the pot, a gorgeous barbie pink, again packed full of glitter and sparkle.
On the lips, again, very little colour shows. The gloss is still gorgeous but with the extra pigmentation, it would have been fab.
Lastly, Fuchsia Smooch.
In the pot, a gorgeous Fuchsia with blue tones.
On the lips, super pigmented, super gorgeous.
The product is a very thick gloss, it’s not sticky and I’ve found it to be quite moisturising on my dry lips. Each pot has a sweet, fruity smell to it, personally I don’t mind it, but others may find it sickly and overpowering. The product lasts roughly a few hours, with the exception of Fuchsia Smooch, it stains your lips.
Love the packaging, super cute! The brush is a really clever idea but it’s a bit pants for applying the gloss. Hushed Blush and Lilac Kiss are great if you’re just looking for a bit of sparkle to glam up your look. I really recommend Fuchsia Smooch, the pigmentation is fab and the colour is divine. For 50p, I cannot moan.
