A lovely cleanser that soothes skin as well as effectively removing make up gently.
Best toner goes to Veil Toning Lotion*
A goes Rose scented toner that smells good enough to eat. It does a fantastic job at removing excess oil and even works well as a mist.
Best spot treatment goes to Metique Tea Tree Oil *
This is probably the only spot treatment that has given me visible results. Not only does it effectively help to get rid of my nasty spots, but it does so hygienically as it has antiseptic qualities.
Best nail polish goes to Collection 2000 Hot Looks polish in 13 Button Moon
A lovely jubbly sky blue like shade which I’ve highly enjoyed sporting on my nails.
Best make up mist goes to ELF Mineral Mist
The best make up mist I’ve used so far. It helps to prolong my make up as well as doing a brilliant job at refreshing my skin.
Best face primer goes to Technic Prime It Illuminating Face Primer
This has helped my skin to look more awake by adding a glowing effect which is much needed on those days where it looks well, a little dull. It also creates a nice base for my foundation.
Best powder does to MUA Pressed Powder in Shade 1
Probably the cheapest, best powder I’ve ever used. It’s brilliant for setting my foundation and prevents me from looking like an oily discoball.
Best foundation and concealer goes to Veil Cover Cream *
I honestly don’t know what I’d do without this cream. It’s like a miracle in a pot. It covers literally anything. It’s even waterproof! It gives me so much more confidence and makes me feel a lot better about myself when my skin is suffering.
Best bronzer goes to VIVO Baked Bronzer in Shade 3 Healthy Glow
The only bronzer I’ve tried that hasn’t caused me to look like a tangerine. It’s the perfect shade for my pale skin tone.
Best powder blush goes to MUA Shade 1
This blush has definitely been much loved throughout 2012, it’s an amazing girlie pink with a hint of glitter which can easily be sheered out or build up, whichever you prefer.
Best cream blush goes to Topshop Blush in Prime Time
The most pigmented cream blush in my collection. The colour is gorgeous, the staying power is great. Everything about this blush, I love.
Best highlighter goes to Revlon Highlighting Face Powder in Pure Confection
A splendidly sparkly powder which is really good for nights out and those days where you want to really those cheekbones to stand out.
Best lipgloss goes to Barry M in Impulse 1
I got this in an Impulse set a while back and it’s been a joy to use ever since. It’s packed full of glittery goodness and looks beautiful on.
Best lipstick goes to NYC Lipstick in 405 Blue Rose
Just like the name, it has a blue undertone which makes teeth looks super duper white. The colour is out of this world and not only a favourite of 2012, but an all time favourite lipstick.
Best lipbalm goes to Blistex Raspberry Lemonade Blast *
This is the nicest smelling and tasting lipstick I’ve ever tried. Not only that, but it does a good job at moisturising my lips too. It’s become a firm pocket favourite throughout these past few cold months.
Best lip liner goes to MUA Lip Liner in Red Drama
A beautiful red shade which does a great job at preventing lipstick bleeding and also looks great as an all over lip colour itself.
Best mascara goes to Natural Collection Lash Build Mascara in Black
A good volume building mascara that makes lashes appear more prominent and costs a very little £1.99
Best eye liner goes to MUA Intense Colour Eyeliner in Jet Black
A highly pigmented liner that doesn’t drag on the eyes and does a swell job as defining eyes.
Best palette goes to the VIVO Unprotected palette
Now I could have chosen the highly popular MUA Undressed palette as they’re both the same product, but I thought I’d go for this one, simply because I prefer the packaging more. It’s packed full of wonderfully pigmented, gorgeous nude shades which are perfect for both day and night.
Best mini palette goes to the MUA Trio Eyeshadow in Pink Sorbet
A set of gorgeous pink shades which compliment my green eyes nicely. They work great as they are, but even better when used wet.
Best pressed eyeshadow goes to MUA Eyeshadow in Shade 1
The best shadow for highlighting those inner corners in my opinion. It makes eyes appear bigger and brighter. Not only that but it’s highly pigmented and blends very well.
Best loose eyeshadow goes to ELF Mineral Eyeshadow in Elegant
A lovely neutral shade, perfect for daytime wear and great to team up with a bold lip.
Best cream eyeshadow goes to Maybelline Color Tattoo in 35 On and On Bronze
This is a spiffing product. It works really well as a base or alone as a shadow. It has the most amazing staying power really is like a tattoo.
Best eye primer goes to ELF Eyelid Primer in Sheer
A nice product for creating a good base for shadow to stick to.
Best shampoo goes to Herbalife Strengthening Shampoo *
A shampoo that cleans hair thoroughly and removes old product effectively without making it feel dry.
Best shower gel does to the Body Shop Mango Shower Gel
This gel smells amazeballs. It lathers up well, removes dirt easily and the smell lingers on the skin nicely.
Best Scrub goes to Soap and Glory Flake Away
A great product for removing dry, dead skin and a key product in my regime for removing horrible ingrown hairs.
Best brow powder goes to the MUA Brow Kit
A little palette that contains a fantastic brown shade that suits my dark brown hair perfectly. It lasts all day and doesn’t budge.
Best brow set goes to MUA Mascara in Shade 1
This is a product that keeps my brows under control and does so brilliantly. For £1, you really can’t go wrong.
Best body moisturiser goes to Body Moisturising Lotion For All Skin Types by Essyta Cosmetics *
A great moisturiser which personally is much needed as the skin on my legs tends to be a little on the dry side. It hydrates well and absorbs into the skin quickly.
Best facial moisturiser goes to Orhis Nourishing Face Cream *
This gives my skin the hydration it needs without making it horrible and oily.
