My Thoughts
This product is a strange one. Once I opened it up I found the scrub to lack moisture and be on the dry side. Once applied to the skin at first I found it quite difficult to massage it in but after a minute or so it became much easier to work with. I will say that I found this scrub to be quite abrasive and did a cracking job at removing my dead skin cells but I wouldn’t recommend using this if you’re someone with very sensitive skin as this might cause you a bit of discomfort. Once I rinsed off the scrub I was left with an extremely strange film on my skin, it was as if the scrub had turned into a waxy lotion. At first, I didn’t like it so I tried to wash it off (which took some doing may I add) but after a few goes I decided to leave it on to see how it would benefit my skin and I’m so glad I did. It made my skin lovely and soft, like super soft as well as giving it a radiant glow. Oh and as for the smell, it contains Rosehip, Pomegranate and Coconut which together smell lovely, not overpowering, but nice and relaxing.
Pros

  • Effectve packaging
  • Moisturising – leaving skin super soft
  • Effectively helps to remove dead skin cells

  • Relaxing scent

Cons
  • Wouldn’t recommend using on sensitive areas as it can be a little harsh
  • Pricey

Overall
I really like this scrub. It’s lovely and luxurious which makes bath times that extra bit special. Not only does the scrub do a brilliant job at effectively removing dead skin cells, but it smells great too. Yes it’s pricey but we all deserve a luxury treat now and again and this tub is sure to last a while. I also like the fact that it’s packed full of animal friendly ingredients and free of a whole host of nasties.
