My Thoughts
I’ve been meaning to review this for a while but for some unknown reason, I forgot. Silly me. Anyway, when I found this in my Betrousse Box, I was super excited to give it a go as I’d never tried a gel cleanser before. Now it’s worth saying this is similar consistency to collagen gel which I use at college for things like none surgical face lifts and other treatments and if not removed fairly quickly, it can dry to a sort of crusty, tacky texture on this skin, just like collagen gel does, but only quicker, so you do have to work fairly fast with it, but apart from that, this cleanser is a joy to use. If you’re someone with quite sensitive skin, this would be fab for you as it contains 0 perfumes and is even gentle on the eye area. This product also contains many natural ingredients and 20% of the total ingredients are from organic farming, but enough about the facts and figures. This cleanser effectively and gently removes makeup and dirt, giving the skin a good clean. When applied it’s cooling and refreshing which feels truly lovely.
Pros
  • Reasonably priced
  • Unscented – great if you have sensitive skin and fab for the eye area
  • Contains 0% parabens, colourants, perfumes or mineral oils
  • 98.9% of the total ingredients are from natural origin
  • 20% of the total ingredients are from organic farming
  • Cooling and refreshing
  • Effectively removes makeup/dirt and cleanses skin
  • Secure, informative packaging

Cons
  • If not washed off quickly, it can start to dry and form a sort of crusty, tacky layer

Overall
Although you have to work with the gel quite quickly, I love the way it removes my makeup and the cooling/refreshing feeling when applied to the skin. The fact that it contains some cracking ingredients and is free from nasties makes it all the more better.
Have you tried any Yves Rocher products?
