My thoughts
The Havana palette contains four lipstick shades. Rum, a mahogany like deep berry red with a gloss finish. Cookie, a beige brown with a satin finish. Creme Brulee a slightly less red toned brown compared to Rum with a satin finish. And lastly, Frappuccino a pale creamy coral with a gloss finish. All shades in the palette are highly pigmented and leave a slight stain on the lips but the two finishes differ when it comes to wear time. I found the satin finishes to last significantly longer than the gloss finishes as they seemed to wear off very quickly during eating and drinking where as the satin finishes seemed to keep practically in tact, apart from a little fading which I expected. I also found the gloss finishes to be a little on the messy side. I will say that a little goes a long way when it comes to all the shades in this palette and the colours are lovely but as a pale lady, I can safely say that these shades, with the exception of Frappuccino, aren’t really me and I think they’d be much more suited for those with darker skin tones.
Review | Sleek Lipstick Palette in Havana
Pros
  • Reasonably priced
  • Effective packaging
  • Highly pigmented shades
  • A little goes a long way
  • Satin shades survive through eating and drinking (they do fade ever so slighly but nothing major)
  • Lovely shades which would be fab for those with darker skin tones

Cons
  • Gloss finish shades can be a little on the messy side
  • Gloss finishes wear off significantly quicker compare to the satin finishes

Overall
I think this is a nice little palette to have and I think it would probably come in handy for make up artists. Although the shades are lovely, they’re just not me and I think they’d be much more suited to those with darker skin tones. I have also got the lip palette in Showgirl which is packed full of pinks which is more up my street so I shall be posting a review of that in the near future.
