My thoughts
I’ve not tried many products from Amie so when I received this facial wash in the post, I must admit, I was rather excited. The Morning Clear Purifying Facial Wash is a cream rather than a foaming gel which I find is super gentle on the skin and actually quite a pleasant, soothing experience when used. I like to team this up with a warm muslin cloth to get a nice squeaky clean face. In terms of effectiveness, it works very well at cleaning the skin without drying it out and leaves it feeling nice and soft but I did struggle a little when it came to removing my make up so I only really like to use this in the morning before applying my make up to get rid of any oil and dirt and then I use another cleanser in the evening to remove my make up. As for the scent, it is sort of fruity and floral, this is probably down to the Elderflower, Mayblossom, Orange Blossom and Raspberry, all of which I’m fond of.
Pros

Cons
  • Doesn’t tackle make up removal as well as I’d like

Overall
If you’re on a budget, looking for a cruelty free, vegan friendly face wash, this will probably be right up your street. It really is a lovely product, I just wish it would remove my make up that little bit better but in all honesty, for morning use it is perfect.
