November 2013 Glossybox – The Glossy Wishlist

Want to know my thoughts on the November 2013 Glossybox – The Glossy Wishlist box?
November 2013 Glossybox - The Glossy Wishlist

Like a lot of people, it’s no secret that over the past few months I’ve been highly disappointed with my Glossybox subscription, so much so that I even wrote an open letter to Glossybox, explaining my disappointment and informing them that if they didn’t change there ways and improve their boxes, I’d be forced to cancel. I think it’s safe to say Glossybox might just have taken everyone’s comments and complaints on board as their November box is certainly a big improvement.
November 2013 Glossybox - The Glossy Wishlist | Vichy Idealia Life Serum | Emite Make Up Micronized Eyeshadow in Dams | Yves Rocher France Hand Cream | Elegant Touch Rapid Dry for Nails | B. Complete Long-Lasting Nail Polish in 197 Bang
Vichy Idealia Life Serum (Sample size 3x 3ml) – RRP £29.50 for 30ml
I’ve heard a lot about Vichy, particularly their skincare range but I’ve never actually tried any of their products so I was happy to receive three of their much talked about Idealia Life Serum. Not too sure how it’ll work with my skin but we’ll see.
Emite Make Up Micronized Eyeshadow in Dams (Full size) – RRP £16.80 for 1.48g
I’m always happy to receive makeup in my box but I’m not too sure if I’m going to get much use out of this shade as it isn’t exactly the most wearable but it sounds promising. It’s free from oil, nickel, parabens and perfume and claims to be long lasting so it certainly sounds good. Hopefully it’ll live up to it’s claims.
Yves Rocher France Hand Cream (Full size) – RRP £1.95 for 75ml
I’ve tried a couple of product from Yves Rocher which were their Sexy Pulp Volume Gloss in 02 Rose Indien and Culture Bio Refreshing Gel Cleanser. I found both were good so I was happy to see another of their products. The hand cream I received is from the Cocao collection and is fragranced with Cocao and Orange. You may think I’m over exaggerating here but this is quite possible the nicest hand cream I’ve ever smelled in my life. It smells EXACTLY like Terry’s Chocolate orange (which I love) I’ve not gave it a thorough testing yet so I can’t comment on the results but I’m hoping it works well.
Elegant Touch Rapid Dry For Nails (Full size) – RRP £3.00 for 125ml
As much as I love painting my nails, I must admit, I can become quite impatient when it comes to waiting for my talons to dry so I was pretty excited when I received this in my box. I’ve tested it out briefly and it was okay but it did leave a slight greasy texture on my nails which was a little off putting.
B. Complete Long-Lasting Nail Polish in 197 Bang (Full size) – RRP £4.99 for 8ml
Last but not least I received this bright red polish from the brand B. I’ve not tried any products from the company but I have heard lots of positive reviews in the blogosphere and have often eyed up their polishes in Superdrug. If you’re after a pretty coral varnish, this is a really good shade however, I applied the polish yesterday and it’s chipped like mad which is a real shame. I’ll be doing a more in depth review in the near future including some swatches so keep your eyes peeled.
What did you think of this months Glossybox?
