Want to know my thoughts on the Ellovi Butter?
What is it?
The Ellovi Butter is a thick cream that can be used on the face or body. It contains just 6 ingredients which are grown naturally around the world those being, Coconut, Macadamia Nut, Marula Nut, Hemp Seed, Shea and Organic Corn Starch. Yes, that’s it. It contains no water which means it’s super concentrated and doesn’t require any preservatives.
The Ellovi Butter retails at $26.00 and is available to purchase on the Ellovi website.
The butter comes in a nice weighty glass jar that gives the product an expensive feel. It keeps the product safe and could easily be reused after use.
If you’re after a nice natural butter that’s cruelty free and going to be able to moisturise the skin well, look no further. What I love about the Ellovi Butter is that it moisturises the skin incredibly well and smells great. It doesn’t have that chemical like scent that a lot of body lotions and potions have, it’s very yummy and food like, it really reminds me of coconut porridge. When on the skin, the thick cream melts beautifully into a oily substance. I personally like to use the product on my body as soon as I hop out of the bath as it leaves my skin feeling super soft and smooth. I find it really works well as a massage medium for a quick bit of effleurage. I mean it doesn’t take forever to sink into the skin, but it isn’t instant so I find massaging really helps the skin to absorb it and lets be fair, it feels much better than just quickly rubbing it in. Although the product can be used on either the face or body, I tend to use it just on my body as I find with my face being prone to breakouts and oily areas, it doesn’t really help it but if you’re someone who suffers from dry skin, I could see this working wonders for you.
