Want to know my thoughts on the Seventeen Cheek Stamp Blush in Made You Look?
What is it?
It’s a bright pink cream to powder blush that can be applied to the cheeks by its sponge stamp applicator.
The Seventeen Cheek Stamp Blush in Made You Look retails at £4.99 and is available to purchase on the Boots website and in Boots stores.
The packaging of the blush is like nothing I’ve seen before. It contains a sponge stamp applicator and a twist off lid which contains the blush. It also contains a handy mirror on the lid. It houses the blusher effectively and I so far haven’t found any problems with it.
When I saw the Seventeen Cheek Stamps in a Boots a couple of months back, I was intrigued. I can’t recall seeing anything quite like them before and quickly picked one up purely for the novelty, gimmicky factor. Basically you get a blush and a sponge stamper applicator. You simply pop the stamper into the blush and then stamp it on your cheeks which I guess is supposed to make application quick and easier, however in my opinion you really do have to have a fluffy blending brush on stand by to blend out the product unless perfectly round circles of blusher on your cheeks is your kinda thing. I opted for the shade Made You Look, a super bright pink with a sort of cream to powder consistency. The colour is gorgeously pigmented and something I really like but I must say, it can be a tad bright and difficult to blend out, especially if you’re going for a subtle look however, the lasting power of Made You Look is very, very good. On myself it lasts around 8-9 hours which for a blush that cost under a fiver, is pretty impressive.
- Effective, unique packaging
- Gorgeous shade
- Has good pigmentation
- Has great lasting power
- Can be a little difficult to blend
Although I got this blush purely for the packaging/gimmick I’ve been pleasantly surprised by its quality and I’ll definitely be checking out the other, more natural shades in the range. Sure it is harder to blend compared to other blushes I’ve tried but it has very good lasting power and the shade is beautiful and probably a shade I’ll get some good use out of in the Summer when I like to opt for bright cheeks.
