Want to see what Makeup Revolution goodies I recently picked up?
I’m a true lippy kinda gal and although I already own a fair few Makeup Revolution lipsticks I thought it was about time that I tried even more of their shades. This time I opted for Immoral, a bright baby blue, now I know what you’re thinking, “Why on Earth would you want to walk around with blue lips Shannon” well part of me got it because I thought it’d be interesting to see what I’d look like but the main reason why I got it was because I thought it’d be a good shade to mix with other lippies to create a unique, teeth brightening shade. I also got Cheer, a sheer, shimmery baby pink. Sweetheart, a shade similar to Cheer but minus the shimmer and slightly more cool toned and Reckless, a slightly berry toned red that has awesome pigmentation.
I then got three of the lipgloss tubes as after trying Too Shy and Baby Try and falling in love with them. The shades I went for were Move A Little Closer, a very, very, very beautiful bubblegum pink which is full of teeny tiny blue micro glitter, Free, a simple clear gloss which I intend to pop over the top of some of my matte lipsticks when I feel in need of a little shine and Hush Hush, a peach pink that contains lovely gold micro glitter.
I then got an Amazing Lipgloss in the shade Raspberry. To be honest I mainly got the shade because of the name and because the products were on 3 for 2 but it’s actually surprisingly nice. It’s a red toned pink that contains some tiny shimmer particles. It’s not the most pigmented gloss in the world but it’s buildable and I find it works well against my skin tone.
Last but not least I got myself four of their powder blushes as after trying Wow! I was keen to discover the other shades Makeup Revolution had to offer. I opted for Hot! a quite bright red toned pink. Sugar, a bright coral orange colour. Now! a pale flattering pink that contains tiny glitter particles and Love, a matte beige. The shades I got (minus Now!) aren’t colours I’d normally go for and I wasn’t expecting them to look the way they do when I ordered them from the Superdrug website however, I am fond of the colours and cannot wait to sport them, particularly Hot! and Now!
Have you taken advantage of the Superdrug 3 for 2 offer or pick up any good Makeup Revolution pieces recently?
