Want to see what goodies I recently got in my You Beauty Discover June 2014 Beauty Heroes box?
L’Oreal Paris Infallible 24H Lip Colour in 110 Timeless Rose (Full size) RRP £9.99
As many of you know, the YouBeauty Discovery Box differs from a lot of other beauty subscription boxes in the sense that you chose what products you’d like from a selection in which they give you each month. You simply pick your two products and they ship your box along with a couple of extra treats. The first product I selected was this lip colour from L’Oreal. It’s a lovely duo which consists of a glossy balm at one end and a highly pigmented stain at the other. The shade I went for, Timeless Rose, is a rosy nude shade that contains some tiny shimmer. It’s a colour that I find is pretty close to my natural lip shade and is really easy to pull off. The wear time of it is simply amazing. It stays put all day long due to its staining effect.
L’Oreal Paris Infallible 24H Lip Colour in 121 Flawless Fuchsia (Full size) RRP £9.99
The second product I chose was another lip colour, this time in the shade Flawless Fuchsia, an eye catching bright fuchsia pink which contains slight shimmer. Much like Timeless Rose it contains both the stain and the balm but unlike the previous product I typed about, I find it to be much more drying on the lips. However, in terms of shade I much prefer it to Timeless Rose as it’s more fun to pull off.
Montagne Jeunesse Dead Sea Mud Spa Mask (Full size) RRP £1.49
For my first extra treat I received this mud mask from good old Montagne Jeunesse. The Dead Sea Mud Spa Mask is a natural bamboo fabric sheet mask infused with specially sourced clays. It’s said to be intensely invigorating and revitalising due to containing dead sea minerals and nutrient rich seaweed kelp. The mask is also suitable for combination, dry and normal skin. I’ve tried this before and although it was pretty good, I didn’t enjoy wearing it as much as other masks I’ve tried in the past. I feel like this is due to the sheet mask being way to big for my face and because it had a tendency to slip and slide round causing the cold, wet mask to get everywhere, meaning I simply couldn’t relax. I may give this another whirl but I’m not 100% sure.
Heart Shaped Expandable Face Cloth
And last but not, my final extra treat and product in my box was this adorable pink heart shaped expandable face cloth. At the moment I’m very loyal to my konjac sponges and muslin cloths but I’m sure I can squeeze this in my routine some how. I believe the brand is actually You Beauty Discovery so I’m not entirely sure if this is available to purchase anywhere as I cannot find it anywhere on the You Beauty Discovery website which is a shame for those who may want to purchase another but hey ho. I’m not expecting it to be the best face cloth in the world but I bet it’ll probably do its job nicely.
