Want to know my thoughts on the Bomb Cosmetics Queen Of The Nile Whoopie Blaster?
Review | Bomb Cosmetics Queen Of The Nile Whoopie Blaster

You’ll have probably seen in my recent Bomb Cosmetics haul that I bought myself a boat load of bath goodies. I actually ordered myself a “lucky bag” kinda gift set and amongst some other fantastic products were a couple of the Queen Of The Nile Whoopie Blasters. Now I won’t lie, I’m usually a sweet, fruity, floral kinda scent lover and would probably never have chosen the bomb myself but my oh my has it impressed me.
The Bomb Cosmetics Queen Of The Nile Whoopie Blaster retails at the very affordable price of £2.99 and is available to purchase on the Bomb Cosmetics website and in some selected independent stores across the country. Queen Of The Nile is described as having a woody floral fragrance, a combination of lemon, orange, jasmine, gardenia, rose, lavender, patchouli, sandalwood and musk. If I’d have read the description I can guarantee I wouldn’t have ordered it myself as a couple of the ingredients are no nos for me (Lavender and sandalwood, I’m looking at you!) But it is certainly a bath bomb I will be repurchasing as the combination of everything works very, very well and the scent is in no way shape or form overwhelming or sickly, it is simply pleasant. The fragrance even lingered nicely on my skin which took me by surprise as I find a lot of the more affordable bath treats seem to lack in this department and don’t last long at all.

When first popped in the bath the blaster quickly fizzes and soon after the water is transformed into a fun green colour (check out my video below to see it in action!) The scent which is released literally filled my entire bathroom within seconds of it being dropped into the water which was simply amazing. Once the fizzing had stopped I was left with some of the purple sprinkles floating about and some slightly foamy residue. Once I hopped in the bath, I felt instantly soothed and nice and relaxed which is something I always want from a bath bomb. After a long soak, I hopped out and got dried. When out I noticed my skin was significantly softer and smoother which could possibly be down to the cocoa and coconut oil that the blaster contained. I also noticed the scent of the product lingered on my skin for a good hour or two after use.

Also, can we all take a moment to just appreciate how freaking adorable the whoopie blaster is. It sort of reminds me of a weird (but very cute) coloured doughnut. I also love the combination of the purple and green. I honestly don’t think I’ve come across a Bomb Cosmetics product that doesn’t look absolutely brilliant to be honest, all their products look amazing, they’re even almost too pretty to actually use, call me sad but there is something strangely satisfying about looking at all the bath bombs on display…

Overall this is a brilliant product, one that surprised me and one that I will be ordering again in the near future. Thankfully I did receive a second Queen Of The Nile Whoopie Blaster so I can experience the lovely scent again but between you and me, I can’t see it sat around unused for much longer so maybe it is worth ordering another couple just as backups!
