Want to hear my thoughts on the Juicy Couture Eau de Parfum Spray?
Juicy Couture fragrances have never really took my fancy. I’ve never really had the urge to try any of their fragrances. It isn’t because I’m not a fan of the brand or anything, it is just I’ve never thought to give any of their products a try. However, over the past year I’ve received a couple of their fragrances as gifts. For Christmas I received the Viva La Juicy which I have enjoyed and then for my birthday I got a bottle of the Juicy Couture Eau de Parfum Spray which is simply right up my street.
If it is floral fragrances you like, this is well worth checking out. Juicy Couture Eau De Parfum Spray retails at £39.99 for 50ml on the Fragrance Direct website. It is what many would class as a “granny fragrance” but I find it is a very elegant and feminine scent. It contains notes of rose, vanilla, lily, wood, patchouli, caramel, green apple and of course a boat load of other things. I’d say this is a fragrance that is suitable for both the young woman and the more mature lady but obviously it all does depend on personal preference. In my opinion this is a great scent to sport during the day time and has become my go to spray for when I’m at work but now that the Autumn is approaching I may switch it up a bit as I sort of feel like this is much more suitable for Spring and Summer rather than the colder seasons.
In terms of the parfum’s strength, it isn’t overly strong but it certainly is not weak and can be detected within arms length. In terms of the wear time it lasts moderately well and tends to fade after around the five hour mark which I don’t find too bad. Overall I really do like this perfume, so much so that it even got a cheeky little mention in my July favourites. It is just a lovely simple scent that isn’t over the top but is pleasant. I do think a lot of people would find this a bit too mature smelling but it is definitely me and I’d highly recommend giving it a sniff if you got the opportunity.
