Want to hear my thoughts on the Yankee Candle Cranberry Pear Wax Tart?
After recently trying out the Yankee Candle Berrylicious Votive Sampler and feeling very disappointed, I thought it was definitely time to revert back to my trusty wax tarts. So into my burner went the Yankee Candle Cranberry Pear Wax Tart. Oh and after quite a few people told me to definitely give the Berrylicious Tart a go as it unsurprisingly is meant to provide good throw, I ordered myself one along with a few other scents I’ve not tried so if you are enjoying my little reviews, fear not, I have a boat load more on the way!
Anyway, the Cranberry Pear Wax Tart retails at just £1.42 and is available to purchase on the Yankee Direct website. In terms of the scent it is sweet but not sickly. It is nice and fruity and is certainly true to its name as it smells of a gorgeous combination of pears and cranberry. In terms of the fragrance strength, it filled my entire room. However, unlike the Salted Caramel Wax Tart, it didn’t linger as long but as I planned on burning a candle the day after, I wasn’t too bothered. I burnt my tart for a good 6 hours and found although most of the scent had gone, there was a little left so I think I’m going to have a whirl at combining some scents with it in the future to see what concoction I can come up with.
Overall I am pretty happy with the product. I think it is a great tart to get you into the Autumn, Winter, Christmas spirit especially if you’re more of a fruity person rather than a spice lover. For the price you can’t go wrong and I’ll no doubt be repurchasing this again when I fancy a fix once again. Oh and this time I didn’t get any complaints of the smell being too much which was great as they actually liked this fragrance.
