Want to hear about the Claudia Bradby Jewellery Poppy Friendship Pearl Bracelet?
As remembrance Sunday fast approaches many people have begun wearing their poppies in honour of the dead. Although poppies are a great way to show your respect, jewellery brand Claudia Bradby Jewellery have released a Friendship Pearl Bracelet for the occasion. The piece is a combination of white freshwater pearls and a bright poppy red ribbon. It is a really classy chic piece and a fabulous alternative or even addition to wearing your poppy. Now the bracelet retails at £36.00 but the real great thing about it is that a generous £5 of that goes to the Royal British Legion, a charity that helps the Armed Forces community through welfare, comradeship and representation as well as being the nations’s custodian of remembrance (check out the Royal British Legion website for more information on some of the amazing things they do) Now as the founder and creator of Claudia Bradby Jewellery is from naval family herself, it is understandable why this charity is one that is so close to her heart.
As you can see, the bracelet is absolutely gorgeous and came presented in a lovely gift box with the brands name upon it. It feels great quality and not cheap in the slightest. Because it has a pull string style ribbon you can either wear the bracelet loose or tight. I’ve been alternating between the two styles and find when worn loose over a chunky knit it looks splendid but when I opt for short sleeve tops, I find it looks better when worn tight but I think this is all down to personal preference. Because the ribbon is expandable this also means that it will fit a good variety of wrist sizes. For the feel of the piece, pearls feel nice and weighty but aren’t too heavy and the ribbon is strong and I feel like the combination of the white pearls and the red work really well together. Overall I just think it is a wonderful piece and I will be sporting mine this coming Sunday out of respect for Remembrance day. Also, Claudia Bradby don’t just support the Royal British Legion, they also support the Military Wives Choirs Foundation Charity, which helps women around the UK share the enjoyment and pride that comes from singing together but their ultimate goal is to bring women in the military community closer together through singing. Much like with the Poppy Friendship Pearl Bracelet, they have a Stronger Together Bracelet which is a pearl and purple ribbon combo, it also retails at £36.00 with £5 going to the charity. The company also have a Canine Partners Dog Tag Necklace which retails at £120.00 with £20 going to Canine Partners, a charity which trains assistance dogs for people with disabilities. I think it is absolutely wonderful to see a company doing so much for various charities. So a big hats off for Claudia Bradby!
How will you be commemorating remembrance day?
