Want to know my thoughts on the Yankee Candle Candy Cane Lane Wax Tart?
Ever since I tried my first Yankee Candle Wax Tart I fell in love. I love the scent throw that the little gems provide and I’m also a big fan of chopping and changing my scents regularly (I know a lot of people say that the tarts are hard to remove from the burners but to be honest I’ve never had that issue with mine, they pop out easy as anything, although I do suspect that this may be because my burner is quite wide) One scent I have been absolutely loving has been the Yankee Candle Candy Cane Lane Wax Tart. This festive tart set me back £1.20 from the Yankee Direct website which I think is safe to say was a total bargain and very, very purse friendly. The scent is one that is very, very suitable for the festive period and I believe it was released for the first time this year, although I could be wrong so don’t hold me to that. For the actual scent it is a combination of peppermint, sweet cookies and creamy vanilla. The peppermint is really detectable and gave my room a very fresh feel but because of the vanilla and cookie sweetness, it was also warming. The scent really, really got me in the mood for Christmas and now I literally cannot wait for the day. Like with the majority of the tarts I’ve tried, the scent throw was top notch and the fragrance filled my room nicely. The scent lasted around six and a half hours which I felt was pretty good. Once I stopped burning the scent I found it began to quickly disappear without lingering which I wasn’t too fussed about. Is this a tart I would recommend? Will I be repurchasing this? I would most certainly recommend it. It is a lovely Crimbo scent and one I truly love. I’ve already ordered myself another tart as well as it in large candle form because I enjoyed it that much!
