Want to hear what I think of the Makeup Revolution Protection Palette in Light?
Makeup Revolution have done it again! They’ve brought out yet another fantastic product. This time it is another palette. It’s called the Makeup Revolution Protection Palette in Light. The palette contains three cream concealers, a silk touch anti shine pressed powder, a contouring matter bronzer, blusher and a highlighter, basically everything you need to create gorgeous face makeup, minus the foundation of course. The concealers that the palette contains come in three shades. The first is a rather light pale shade (ideal for my skin tone) there is also a slightly darker shade and finally a very yellow toned colour which is great for use under the eyes. The concealer is quite creamy and easy to blend which I really like. I find it gives medium buildable coverage which is pretty good for something so affordable. For the powder I do find it ever so slightly yellowy but as a whole I can get away with it as it is light enough for me. I find the powder to be nicely milled and eliminates shine nicely. I do find that throughout the day I have to reapply it but I find this the case with the majority of powders so it really isn’t a big deal for me. For the Bronzer, Blush and Highlighter I really like all three. I find the contour colour can be blended out to suit my skin and creates those faux shadows nicely. The blush is a sort of dusky pink shade. It compliments me well, it is pretty and I think a lot of people would be able to pull it off. And the final thing in the palette is the highlighter. It is a lovely cool toned shade that works well both on the cheeks and on the eyes. The palette retails at just £6.00 which I think is a total steal for what you get. It is also currently available to purchase on the Makeup Revolution website. In terms of the packaging it comes housed in sturdy plastic which protects everything really well and looks good too, there is also a really good sized mirror in the lid which always comes in handy. Basically I cannot fault the Protection Palette. It performs well and has been getting lots of use from me lately.
