Want to hear about three products I have fallen out of love with?
A couple of years back I remember Magnifibres being huge. Everyone seemed to own a tub of the brush on false eyelashes and lots of people raved about them. When I first gave them a go I’ve got to say, I was very impressed. They definitely added both length and volume to my lashes and I was happy with the results however as time has gone on I have fallen out of love with Magnifibres. I’m not sure if it is because the tube has been used so much or what but I’ve noticed that the fibres no longer apply as evenly and are more clumpy. For me applying this product now makes my lashes look worse and unnatural which is certainly not good.
When I first bought this lipstick I really enjoyed the colour and to be honest with you, I still do. One thing I have really, really taken a disliking to though is the formula of this lippy. It is so, so drying and for a matte lipstick it really isn’t that pigmented. Because of the poor formula I now no longer reach for this lipstick as I feel like although the colour is nice, it just isn’t even worth the hassle of applying. Sorry Makeup Academy but I think Peachy Keen will be going in the bin.
ELF Studio Contouring Blush and Bronzing Powder in St Lucia
When I first tried this little duo I didn’t get on with the bronzer, in fact I still don’t as it is too dark for my skin tone however, I did end up enjoying the blush. I found it to be a good everyday shade however, the more I use it, the more chunky glitter I come across which puts me right off. I’ve asked a few people now if this is the case with their product but I am yet to come across anyone who does so I am a little concerned that mine is a bit faulty.
