Want to hear about the high end products I reach for most?
You’ll probably see from this post that I am a huge Urban Decay eyeshadow lover. They’re quite possibly my favourite brand ever when it comes to eyeshadows as I find the quality is just top notch and the shade range is beautiful. The first eyeshadow palette of theirs that I really fell head over heels in love with was the Urban Decay Naked 3 Palette. The palette is jam packed full of gorgeous prominently pink toned neutrals which are absolutely perfect for both day and night. Here, you can read my full review of the Urban Decay Naked 3 Palette.
The second palette from UD that I reach for often is the Naked 2 Basics Palette. This contains six taupe hued matte shades. This palette is absolutely ideal for everyday use when you want to look made up but still very natural. The quality is great, especially for matte shades as I often find Matte finishes to really lack in colour pay off and to be quite dusty too. Here. you can read my full review of the Urban Decay Naked 2 Basics Palette.
The third UD palette I find myself using a lot is the Anarchy Face Case. This palette contains five eyeshadows, a 24/7 Glide-On Eye Pencil, a Super Saturated High Gloss Lip Colour, two blushes and a highlighter. It basically contains everything you need for an entire makeup look. My favourite items in the face case are the eyeshadow in Revolt which is a shimmery metallic silver, the Super Saturated High Gloss Lip Colour in Scandal and of course the eye catching blush in Quickie which is a blue toned bright pink. MAC Mineralize Skinfinish in Adored
When I first purchased this product I’ve got to be honest, I didn’t think it was anything special but the longer I’ve had it, the more I’ve enjoyed it. If you’re not aware the Mineralize Skinfinish in Adored was released as part of the Tropical Taboo collection and is sadly no longer available as it was Limited Edition. The shade is a Coral with Light Beige Pearl. It is a very subtle and natural shade which many people could get away with using as a highlighter. For me I find because I am so pale it works nicely as a very toned down blush.
MAC Lipstick in Pink Nouveau
When it comes to MAC lipsticks there are a fair few that I enjoy but one that I reach for time and time again is Pink Nouveau. The shade is a stunning bubblegum Barbie pink which works so, so well with my pale complexion. It is a super fun colour and one that I will most definitely be repurchasing when my current one runs out.
Illamasqua Cream Blusher in Seduce
The final high end product that I use quite a bit is the Illamasqua Cream Blusher in Seduce. The shade is a wonderful warm rose shade that has a dewy finish and works surprisingly well with my skin tone. The texture is really something else as it melts effortlessly into the skin. In terms of the pigmentation, it provides pretty darn good colour pay off and it has rather impressive wear time too.
