Miners Cosmetics Bronzer and Blusher Blend in Sun Blushed
Now this is a product that is no longer available and in my opinion that is a good thing as it is a product that is utterly pants, no offence Miners. This is a product that is said to give your skin a sun kissed glow thanks to its so-called mix of brown and pink powders. Now I’m not sure if its me but in my opinion there certainly isn’t any pink in the product which makes me think that its possibly a different shade that’s been labelled wrong. Anyway, the product comes across really orange on my skin which just doesn’t look right at all. I’ve tried to use this product in so many different ways and it just looks ridiculous so for that reason I’m afraid this duo product will be going in the bin.
Whenever I spot this product in my makeup drawer I always wonder what on Earth possessed me to spend my hard-earned cash on this highlighter. First things first, the formula is good, it is has great colour pay off, blends nicely and lasts on the skin well. In a nutshell this is a product that is really quite great however, the colour doesn’t work with my pale cool complexion at all and that is no surprise really as it is a really bright yellow toned gold colour, something that is much more suitable for those with warm complexions. So as a face product this certainly doesn’t work for me. However, I have recently been using it as an eyeshadow and I’ve blending some pretty chocolate and bronze shades with it.
And finally, another product that I cannot get away with is the W7 Matte Bronzer. I originally purchased this to use as a contour product however, it is so, so dark and really rather red toned which again doesn’t look good on me. If you are as pale as me I’d be very surprised if you enjoyed using this, unless of course you like a really bold and strong contoured look. If you are someone with medium toned skin that is warm I reckon this could work for you. The only other thing I will say is that I really do not like the formula of the W7 Matte Bronzer. Sure it is pigmented but it is so, so powdery and dusty. As soon as I place my brush in the product I find the bronzer goes everywhere which is particularly annoying when applying near carpets or anything white as it makes a right mess. A plus point? It didn’t cost an arm and a leg to buy so I can’t really complain too much.
Are you pale like me? What products can you not get away with?
