5 Cheap Makeup Products You Need To Try

NYC Expert Last Lip Colour (link)

The first makeup item I really think you should try is the NYC Expert Last Lip Colour. I specifically recommend trying out NYC Expert Last Lipstick in Purple Crush and NYC Expert Last Lip Color Lipstick In Blue Rose. If you’re after lipsticks to make your teeth appear brighter and whiter then I highly recommend these two shades. Blue Rose is one of my all time favourite shades and it is even said to be a dupe for MAC’s Show Orchid. The colour is a slightly dark fuchsia that had this amazing blue undertone to it. As for Purple Crush, the shade is very similar to Blue Rose but it is a little more toned down and wearable. It still has that lovely blue undertone but it is a little less bold. Both lippies have a slightly shimmery finish but it comes across more glossy as opposed to frosty.

The second cheap makeup item worth checking out is the W7 Flirty Eyes Mascara. I actually recently mentioned this product in my 3 Mascara Products I’m Loving At The Minute post. I also mentioned it in my 5 Great Affordable W7 Products You Should Try post too. Anyway, this reminds me a lot of the Maybelline Falsies Volume Mascara. The mascara has a slightly dry formula but a lovely easy to work with plastic spike brush. I find you can really work the mascara into the lashes thanks to that flexible brush head. In terms of the result, you are left with great added volume.

The third cheap makeup product you need to try is the Technic Colourmax Lipgloss. I currently own two of these glosses in the shades Raspberry and Nude. Both glosses are incredibly pigmented for being so cheap and surprisingly they’re not that sticky. Out of the two glosses, I own the colour Raspberry is hands down my favourite. It is an intense berry pink shade. It contains no shimmer or glitter but gives the lips a gorgeous sheen and a pop of colour. As for Nude, although it doesn’t work that well for me it is still a gorgeous shade. The colour is a coral toned brown colour with pretty gold shimmer running throughout. I think this shade would work well on darker skin and on those who have a warm toned complexion.

The fourth cheap makeup product I recommend is the Technic Colourmax Lipstick. These lipsticks are an absolute steal, seriously, you need to check them out. The lipsticks are highly pigmented and last fairly well on the lips. I currently have four shades in my collection. There’s Nude, a baby pink. Pink, an eye-catching bright fuchsia. Deep Purple, a slightly vampy berry pink shade. And last but not least is Coral, you guessed it, a classic coral colour that is ideal for Summer. Out of the bunch, Deep Purple is definitely my favourite as it works well with my complexion and it can be worn lightly for a wash of colour or applied normally for an Autumn/Winter friendly look.

W7 Get Set Eye Shadow Base in White Pearl (link)

And the last cheap makeup product to make it into my blog post is the W7 Get Set Eye Shadow Base in White Pearl. If you want to brighten your makeup look or intensify your shadows then look no further. This stuff gives dark shadows more depth, improves the pigmentation of matte colours and gives shimmers a beautiful foil effect. All in all, it just improves eyeshadow appearance.
