5 Face Brushes I Recommend Checking Out
Veil Powder Brush*
The first of the face brushes that I recommend is the Veil Powder Brush. This fluffy powder brush is made up of a black handle, silver ferrule and eye-catching red hairs. The brush is ideal for applying a dusting of powder to the face for a very natural finish. I personally like to use this brush when setting my full coverage concealer but it is great for also applying bronzer to the body. One thing to be aware of is that this brush is not dense. That being said that brush is easy to work with, blends product well and feels well made. The hairs are also super soft and regain their shape well after washing.
Real Techniques Bold Metals Contour Brush Dupe
The second of the face brushes I recommend is the Real Techniques Bold Metals Contour Brush dupe that I got in my Real Techniques Bold Metals dupes set. This brush is has a gorgeous rose gold ferrule and handle along with pretty pink hairs. This brush is absolutely ideal for blending out a strong contour for a great natural look. The brush is the perfect size to apply the product to the cheekbones. The quality of the brush is surprisingly great considering how affordable the cheap bold metals dupe brush cost.
Real Techniques Core Collection Contour Brush Dupe
The third of the face brushes I recommend is the Real Techniques Core Collection Contour Brush dupe. I purchased this brush in my Real Techniques brush dupes set. This is a small tapered brush that can be used to apply both blush and highlighter. I personally love using this to apply a really pretty cheek highlight as I find the brush is the perfect size and shape. In terms of how it’s made, I find the brush to be soft, sturdy and washes well. It is a brush that I reach for on a daily basis and highly recommend.
Real Techniques Bold Metals Tapered Blush Brush Dupe
The fourth of the face brushes I recommend is the Real Techniques Bold Metals Tapered Blush Brush dupe. Again I purchased this blush brush dupe from AliExpress for a fraction of the price of the original brush. As far as makeup brushes go, this brush is stunning due to its pink and rose gold combination design. Right now this brush has to be my favourite for applying blush as the shape is perfect, the hairs are soft and the size is ideal. The brush washes well and I’ve experienced minimal shedding so I can’t really complain.
Sigma Flat Foundation Brush Dupe
The last of the face brushes that I recommend is the Sigma Flat Foundation Brush dupe. I got this brush when I purchased my Sigma Brush dupes set for around £5. This brush is a flat top kabuki style brush which makes it ideal for stippling product onto the skin. I like to use this brush when I want to achieve a high coverage makeup look as the stippling method created a sort of airbrushed effect. The brush its self is white with a gold ferrule, and a duo type black and white hair design. If you’re after a good brush for stippling but you don’t want to break the bank, I definitely recommend checking out this brush.
