Great Scented Products From Candywick

When it comes to home fragrance I am literally obsessed. Marc has even had to put me on a candle buying ban as my little addiction is starting to get ever so slightly out of control. Recently the lovely people from Candywick got in touch with me and asked if I’d like to try out their range. Of course I said yes and before I knew it a big box of goodies arrived with Mr Postman. Inside the box was a wonderful selection of their products such as: Parma Violet Clam Shell Wax Melts Parma Violets used to be a favourite…

KandleWick Pomegranate and Hibiscus Room Spray Review

On type of product I’m really starting to get into at the moment is Room Sprays. I’m bit on candles and wax melts but this is a whole new home fragrance area that I am discovering. One product that I’ve been really enjoying has been the KandleWick Pomegranate and Hibiscus Room Spray. How I Display My Holiday Memories

Recently I was set a fun challenge by the people at Keepmoat. Keepmoat challenged myself and 4 other bloggers to come up with the most creative and visual way of displaying holiday memories in the home. The most imaginative idea will win a £200 voucher to put towards a short break with the competition being judged by the fab team at Keepmoat. We were also sent £75 worth of Homebase vouchers to help us with the task. For a while now I’ve wanted to do a project like this as I thought it was such a shame that all my memories…

A Really Quick, Easy and Simple Recipe? Tasty Pitta Pizza

There are days where I simply cannot be bothered with cooking and there are other days when I am strapped for time and just want to make something in a flash. Although packet pasta and noodles tick the box, sometimes I do find them to be a tad boring and I crave a culinary change. My latest obsession is Pitta Bread Pizza. Now this “recipe” isn’t really a recipe as it is super quick, easy and simple, even the most terrible chef in the world could knock up a pitta pizza, it is that easy. Basically I get a standard…

How To Make A House A Home

When we first moved into our home it was lovely however, it was a bit bare and not very homely. Now our landlord is a very nice man who allows us to do pretty much anything we want to the property (Within reason of course. I somehow don’t think he’d like us to go round knocking walls down!) However, one of the very few things we aren’t allowed to do is wallpaper. We are allowed to paint, but we’re not allowed to use any bright colours as understandably it could be a hassle for future tenants. I’m not going to…

2 Bright, Bold and Beautiful Summer Nail Colours

When it comes to nail polish I don’t normally stick to the unwritten rules of only wearing bright shades in Summer, pastels in Spring and the darker shades in Autumn and Winter, I just wear what I want, however, I do feel like it is more acceptable to pull off those gorgeous bright shades at this time of year and that is exactly what I have been doing. The two polishes pictured above are two that I’ve recently loved sporting on my toes. The first shade is Barry M Gelly Hi-Shine Nail Paint in Green Berry. It is a super bright,…
