Urban Decay Naked 3 Palette
The first thing to make it into my July 2018 favourites is the Urban Decay Naked 3 Palette. Now, this isn’t something new that I’ve discovered, in fact, I’ve had it for quite a long time now. Back in 2014 I even did an Urban Decay Naked 3 Dupe post, that is how long I’ve had this palette. However, recently I’ve been playing around with the colours more and more. The quality of the eyeshadows are top notch and the shade range works fantastically with my cool toned pale skin.
Some of my favourite eyeshadows in the palette include Dust, a glittery pale baby pink. Burnout, a peachy satin pink. Buzz, a glittery metallic rose gold. Nooner, a pink toned matte brown. And last but not least, Blackheart, a matte black which contains some super pretty red sparkle. I just love this pink toned nude eyeshadow palette as you can create so many different looks with it and the quality of the product is brilliant.
Nando’s Hot Sauce
The second thing to make it into my July 2018 favourites is Nando’s Hot Sauce. I am a self-confessed spice lover. I love pretty much anything that contains chilli and I am always on the lookout for hot sauce to try. One of my favourites is Nando’s Hot Sauce. Is it the hottest? Definitely not but it has a really nice flavour to it. Recently I’ve been utterly loving the peri peri hot sauce mixed with plain Houmous served with a side of cucumber sticks. It’s been an absolute favourite of mine for the last few weeks and makes a nice change from delicious, albeit a little plain houmous.
The third thing to make it into my July 2018 favourites is my Pentagram Bag that I picked up from EMP. For a little while, I’d been after a really pretty across the body bag for when I go out and about. I looked at quite a few bags but this one really caught my eye. The bag contains a large pentagram design on the front made from straps. The bag has a round shape which isn’t something you see too often and features both a carrying handle and an across the body strap. At 27.5cm in diameter and 6.5cm in depth, the bag isn’t huge but it is a decent size, it can fit quite a bit inside and is definitely larger than I expected. The only downside? For some odd reason, it really attracts dust and fibres. Despite this I absolutely love it.
The fourth thing to make it into my July 2018 favourites is my Ouija Necklace from AliExpress. My photos of this pretty necklace just don’t do it justice. It looks SO much better in person. It’s pretty much a simple black rubbery plastic necklace complete with a classic lobster clasp and a silver Ouija pendant. Realistically the necklace is fairly simple but it is incredibly beautiful. Recently I’ve really been enjoying layering the necklace with other pieces like my Goat Head Pentagram Necklace, Tattoo Choker and my favourite Moon and Star Layered Choker. I’ve included a cheeky selfie below so you can see what the layered look is actually like. The best bit? The Ouija necklace only cost me £1.68 with free shipping. Absolute bargain!
Soap and Glory Supercat Liquid Eyeliner
The fifth item to make it into my July 2018 favourites is the Soap and Glory Supercat Liquid Eyeliner. I’ve really been loving a bit of liner recently. I’ve been practising my cat flicks and although I’m not perfect, I feel like I am close to perfecting my eyeliner game. The product I’ve been practising with has been the Soap and Glory liquid liner. The reason why I’ve been loving this liner so much is because the fine tip makes it so, so easy to use. You can create both thin and thick lines super easily. The liner does smudge a little more than I’d like but as a whole, it is a pretty good liner.
My Cocktail Woo Woo
The sixth item to make it into my July 2019 favourites is the My Cocktail Woo Woo. I’m not a huge drinker but with the Summer upon us and the World Cup having been on I’ve had a couple of drinks. One of my favourite drinks has been the My Cocktail Woo Woo. These canned cocktails are only like £1-£1.50 a can depending on where you purchase them from. This particular flavour is nice and sweet. The peach flavour in this is prominent and it kind of has a very slight Red Bull taste to it. It’s just a fantastic summer beverage.
Shane Dawson Conspiracy Theories
One thing I’ve been totally and utterly obsessed with has been reading about conspiracy theories so imagine my delight when I discovered YouTube Shane Dawson’s Conspiracy Theory series. I remember one night Peter and I binge watched them. One minute it was 9pm the next it was four in the morning. I particularly enjoyed hearing about the flat earth theory and the creepy kpop idol app. Since watching the series I’ve started to question everything and have become even more obsessed with reading about conspiracy theories.
The eighth thing to make it into my July 2018 favourites is the Blackpink Square Up EP. Blackpink is a four piece Kpop girl group who’ve recently released an EP which consists of just four songs. However, each song is top notch and will for sure get stuck in your head. The mini-album is sassy and screams female empowerment. It’s a combination of badass lyrics and catchy beats. Honestly? I love it! My favourite track of the album right now is for sure Forever Young which I mentioned in my July favourite songs post. It’s a cracking track with a nice Summer vibe to it.
The End Of The F***ing World
One thing I recently invested in was a Netflix subscription. I love a good binge watch so what better place to go than Netflix. I’ve been watching quite a few things on good old Netflix but one of the shows that stood out for me was the show The End Of The F***ing World. I don’t really want to give too much away on this short series as it is something you should really watch and learn about yourself. However, I will say that this is a dark comedy-drama based on a graphic novel.
The show follows James, a 17-year-old who believes he is a psychopath and Alyssa, his classmate who’s a bit of a rebel. The series tackles various subjects, it’s well written, has a nice soundtrack and some really beautiful cinematography. It’s definitely one worth binge-watching and trust me, you’ll find it difficult to tear yourself from it until you’ve watched every single episode.
