When it comes to MAC my favourite product of theirs by far would definitely have to be their lipsticks. The range of shades is mind-blowing and the quality of them is wonderful too. The only real complaint I have about them is that they aren’t cheap. Nowadays a single lipstick will set you back an eye watering £15.50 here in the UK which for most people is quite steep. Now I do own around 7 or 8 MAC lipsticks that I’ve accumulated over time but looking back I definitely think I should have purchased the dupe versions of the colours instead as I could have saved myself a fair bit of cash. Sure the quality probably wouldn’t have been as good but I do own a few dupes and as far as the shades go, they’re pretty darn great. Anyway, I’m always on the hunt for MAC dupes for shades I want to try, particularly those colours that I normally wouldn’t go for that are a little out of my comfort zone as the last thing I want to do is waste £15.50 on something that is just going to sit in a drawer and collect dust. So, to tackle my issue I did a little research online as to which shades are considered dupes and I’ve compiled a list of dupes for a lot of the popular MAC shades. I’ve also tried to link to each product however, some shades are harder to get hold of so I wasn’t able to link to each and every one. Basically I hope this list enables you to find an alternative shade and also helps you to save money too. Oh and I’ll also be updating this list as I discover new dupes. Anyway, here are the dupes for each shade:
Rimmel Matte Lasting Finish by Kate Moss in 104
Maybelline Barely Bloomed, Revlon 001 Nude Attitude, Covergirl Creme
Essence Natural Beauty, Rimmel Vintage Pink, Revlon 463 Sassy
Maybelline Untainted Spice, Wet N Wild Mocha-Licious
Revlon Smoked Peach
Rimmel Naughty Nude, Maybelline Warm Me Up, L’Oreal Tender Berry
