Astral Cream (link)
I’ve already raved about this cream in my Astral Cream review post so it definitely deserved a mention in my March 2016 favourites. Astral Cream is a very thick moisturiser. If you’ve tried the famous Nivea Cream that comes in a blue tub, this is very similar. The moisturising cream has worked absolute wonders on my skin and transformed it from being really quite dry, to soft and smooth. If you have dry skin and find that nothing is really working, I seriously urge you to give this super affordable product a go. It retails at just £1.29 for 50ml so it is very affordable and whats even better is that a little goes a really long way.

The second product to make it into my March 2016 Favourites was of course the Lancome Juicy Shaker in Freedom Of Peach. Now if you read my Lancome Juicy Shakers Review #Bantheboring post then you’ll know that I received two of these cute lip products. Although I love both, I’ve found myself reaching for Freedom Of Peach just that little bit more as it is a very pretty nude thus being really suitable for everyday wear. I also love the way it feels on the lips. It isn’t sticky or greasy, it feels comfortable and applies really well. I also love that it keeps my lips feeling quite nourished thanks to its oil base. All in all, despite the hefty price tag, I really recommend the Lancome Juicy Shaker in Freedom Of Peach.
LOC (Love of Color) Vibrant Matte Lipstick in Uncorked (link)
Another lip product I’ve been enjoying throughout March has been the LOC Vibrant Matte Lipstick in Uncorked. If you’ve never heard of LOC Cosmetics, LOC stands for Love Of Color and it is a brand from Birchbox. Uncorked is one of three lipsticks in the range and it is a really stunning berry pink colour. It is really similar to MAC Rebel lipstick which is a real favourite of mine but this lippy is a fraction of the price as it retails at just £6.50. In terms of the formula it is highly pigmented, has a matte finish but isn’t actually drying at all and has quite a creamy, easy to work with, formula.
Amelia Moss Barbary Fig Oil (link)
And last but not least to make it into my March 2016 favourites is the Amelia Moss Barbary Fig Oil. Over the years I’ve tried many different oils and whilst I do love Argan Oil and Rose Hip Oil, there is something extra special about this Barbary Fig Oil. Now first things first, this does seem to be one of the more expensive oils on the market. After a bit of a Google I’ve found that this is due to the process of actually getting the oil. However, for me this definitely stands out from the rest because of the way it feels on the skin and treats it. Normally with oils they can feel really quite, well, oily and greasy on the skin but with this oil, it applies like any other oil but it feels light on the skin and absorbs really, really rather quickly so there is never that uncomfortable feeling or awkward waiting around stage. Another thing I love about this stuff is that it nourishes the skin, tackles dry skin well and leaves the skin silky soft but it doesn’t block the pores or cause breakouts in the process. It treats the skin well and I think if you are someone who has dry skin but you are prone to breakouts, this is definitely an oil worth looking into. One of my favourite ways to use the oil has been by mixing a drop or two with my Astral Cream for a really intensely moisturising treatment and let me tell you, it has worked absolute wonders. My skin is my radiant in appearance and better in texture.
