Want to hear about my May 2015 favourites and all about the products I’ve been loving?
The first product I’ve been loving throughout May has been the Neve Cosmetics Mineral Correcting Concealer in Green. This is a very, very finely milled powder. It is very silky and provides the skin with good coverage, not quite full but it is good nevertheless. The shade is quite pale and blends lovely with my skin tone. It is perfect for setting cream concealers and is a prdo
Now I’ve been using this product teamed up with the Neve Cosmetics Concealer. Basically Veil Cover Cream is a high coverage camouflage concealer and the shade Green is excellent for counteracting redness in the skin so if you suffer from say Rosacea this may be worth looking into. Anyway, I simply dab a little on my areas of concern, blend out with my fingers and then I apply the Mineral Concealer over the top to set the area. The result? My redness is concealed very, very well and virtually undetectable. And on of the best things? It stays in place all day long with minimal signs of wear.
Another Neve Cosmetics product I’ve been LOVING has been the Single Eyeshadow in Black Sheep which I received in my Elegantissimi Eyeshadow Palette. I’ve tried a lot of matte eyeshadows and to be honest I’ve never been wowed until now. This shadow is incredible. It doesn’t apply patchy, it blend really well, the wear time is great and the pigmentation, my oh my. I don’t think I’ve ever found a black quite as black as this. It is simply amazing. I do find I have to be a bit cautious at times because it is SO PIGMENTED but honestly, a bit of Black Sheep in the outer corner vamps up any eye look nicely.
Dreams and Sparkles Gold Coloured Leaf Necklace
The final product I’ve been obsessed with this month has been the Dreams and Sparkles Gold Coloured Leaf Necklace (Biased, I know) It is just a simple yet elegant and really beautiful necklace. I’ve been wearing it both on its own and teamed up with other necklaces for a layered boho style effect. I also find it a nice change from my typical style of jewellery.
What goodies have you been loving this month?
