Could This Be The Best Jam Ever? Streamline Blackcurrant Jam

It’s not often I share food posts here on my blog. I think the last post I shared was my post on some delicious katsu curry from ShiJo Newcastle. Before that, I think the last foodie post I shared was when the Alpro Coconut range was brought to my attention. I know it doesn’t really seem like it but I am a huge foodie. It’s not something I’ve explored or talked about much on my blog. However, that will definitely be changing in the future. I really want to share and talk about some of my favourite foodie items and recipes…

How To Have A Great Free Day Out – Great North Museum: Hancock

As mentioned in my 2018 so far post, a few weeks back Peter and I had a wander up to the Great North Museum: Hancock. If you’ve not heard of the Great North Museum: Hancock, it is situated in the centre of Newcastle-Upon-Tyne. It is home to various exhibitions like Living Planet, Fossil Stories, a Hadrian’s Wall gallery, Natural Northumbria and World Cultures. There are also exhibits on ancient Egyptians and Greek and Etruscan art and archaeology. A museum that has been around since 1884 The museum was first built in 1884 as a natural history museum to house collections of the…

8 Impressive Tunes I’ve Been Loving In June

After sharing my favourite songs in May I thought I’d do the same this month and talk about 8 impressive tunes that I’ve been loving in June. A lot of the songs mentioned in this post are K-Pop tracks so if that isn’t your thing, I am sorry. However, it is my cup of tea which is why I am mentioning so many Korean pop songs here on my blog. Duh. Anyway, I’ve been loving quite a few tracks this month but I’ve narrowed it down to those that I really had a strong love for. Check out my top…

June 2018 Favourites: Resident Evil 7, Shin Ramyun, NYX Taupe Blush and More

It’s been quite a while since I wrote a monthly favourites post. I think the last monthly favourites I shared was my January 2018 favourites. I absolutely love sharing the products and things I’ve been loving each month but I always forget to share them here on my blog. However, this month I remembered and boy have I been loving and enjoying a lot of things. My advice? Pop the kettle on, make yourself a cuppa and sit back and relax while you read. Resident Evil 7 Biohazard The first thing making it into my June 2018 favourites in Resident…

Should You Go and Stay At Staybridge Suites Newcastle?

If you read my post on what I’ve been up to this year then you’ll already be aware that in early May my boyfriend Pete and I stayed overnight in Newcastle to celebrate his birthday. We looked at quite a few places to stay online but in the end, we settled on Staybridge Suites Newcastle. Unlike a standard hotel Staybridge Suites offers, you guessed it, suites. From studio suites to one-bedroom suites. I believe all suites come with complimentary wifi and hot buffet breakfast and each suite claims to be bigger than a standard hotel bedroom. Each suite comes with a fully equipped kitchen which makes the…

How Good Are The Revolution Pro Foundation Drops?

Back in May, I shared a Revolution Beauty haul after purchasing a few products from the brand. One of the products I purchased was the Revolution Pro Foundation Drops. These affordable foundation drops are available in 18 different shades with colours for all different skin tones. I opted for the shade F3 which is a shade that is said to be ideal for those with pale complexions and pink undertones. On me, the shade does oxidise a little. However, all in all, I can get away with the colour. In an ideal world, I would have liked it to be a smidgen lighter.…
