W7 Eye Want It Eyeshadow Collection Review

Recently I’ve been trying out the W7 Eye Want It Eyeshadow Collection which I featured in my October 2016 Favourites. This small palette contains nine eyeshadows which are all suitable for everyday wear. Inside the palette, there is a selection of plums, nudes and browns which all have either a satin finish or a shimmer finish. This is with the exception of a matte white which is unsurprisingly less pigmented in comparison to the other shades. In terms of the pigmentation, all the shades are pretty good, especially for the price. They obviously aren’t mind-blowingly pigmented but when teamed up with a primer they work effectively well. My favourite way to wear the eyeshadows is with a layer of eyeshadow primer and a coating of the W7 Argan Eyes Mascara.

A great everyday shade selection with some more evening-friendly shades thrown in

In terms of the texture, the eyeshadows are quite soft and a little buttery but they do produce a little fallout. While annoying, this is something that I find easy to work around. So it’s not a huge deal. As for the shade range, I’ve already mentioned the matte white shade but there are many other shades. There is a shimmery baby pink, this is a personal favourite of mine. It works excellently as an inner corner highlight. There is a shimmery beige, a standard shade that is always good to have to hand.

Then there is a satin beige, ideal for use as an all over lid colour. There is also a shimmery peachy shade which is extremely pretty. Also in the W7 Eye Want It Eyeshadow Collection is a shimmery and slightly mauve toned brown. Again this is a stunning colour. Then we have a beautiful deep shimmery purple which has flecks of black and silver running throughout. This is followed by a satin taupe, an ideal crease colour. Lastly is a deep black that contains pretty gold glitter.

A cute and affordable eyeshadow palette worth checking out

In terms of the price, the affordable W7 tin eyeshadow palette retails at £3.99 on the Beauty Base website. This palette is excellent value for money and ideal for makeup beginners and those on a budget. Of course, this palette isn’t out of this world, but I feel like it’s a nice product that I’ve been reaching for on a daily basis. In terms of the packaging, the eyeshadows come housed in a sturdy tin. The tin protects the eyeshadows well and the small size of the palette means it is great for travel.
